Funeral mass will be Saturday, May 8, 2004 for 22-year-old Laura Diercks
of Chester, IL who passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at St. Louis
University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Born March 29, 1982 in Red Bud, the daughter of Kenneth Diercks and
Rebecca Brown. She was a 2000 graduate of Chester High School.
Survivors include her father, Kenny Diercks of Chester, IL. Her mother,
Rebecca Risley of Chester, IL. One sister, Amanda Kuburic of St. Louis, MO.
A half brother, Bryan Welge of Chester, IL. Two step sisters, Carrie Risley
of Denver, CO and Jacqueline Risley of Chester, IL. One stepbrother, Justin
Risley of Chester, IL. Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. W.E. Brown of Sparta, IL
and Ann Diercks of Chester, IL. Nephew, Alem Kuburic of St. Louis, MO.
Stepfather, Kenny Welge of Chester, IL and her dog, Junior, of Chester, IL.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather and her stepmother.
Friends are calling after 4pm Friday at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home
in Chester, IL.
Funeral mass for Laura Diercks will be Saturday, May 8, 2004 at 10am at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, IL with Msgr. Dennis Schaefer
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
