Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 29, 2004 for 85 year old Dan Magers of Chester, IL who passed away Saturday, June 26, 2004 at Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.

He was born May 27, 1919 in Chester, IL, the son of Henry and Lucy (Lohrding) Magers. He married Faye Hartenberger on July 1, 1967 in Chester, IL and she survives of Chester, IL.

Also surviving is one brother in law, Donald Hartenberger of Perryville, MO and one sister in law, Fern Wesbecher of Hannibal, MO. Nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Friends are calling after 4pm Monday, June 28, 2004 at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.

Funeral services for Dan Magers will be Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 11am at the Welge Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL with Rev. Mark Willig officiating. Burial, with military graveside services, will be in the Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL.

Memorials can be made to the 150th anniversary fund at St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, IL, to St. John Lutheran School in Chester, IL or to the St. Louis Zoo Friendsí Association in St. Louis, MO.
