A funeral was held Monday, July 22 for 92-year-old Pearl O. Hasemeyer, who died Friday, July 19 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester.

Born Sept. 17, 1919 in Blair, the daughter of Bert and Millie Agnes (Ennis) Seel. They both preceded her in death.

Survivors include five daughters: Wanda Frazer of Ellis Grove, Betty Congleton of Chester, Ruth Ann Hughes of Gracemont, OK, Carol Richard of Waterloo and Sandra McBride of Evansville. One half-brother, Gerald "Splinter" Seymour of Ellis Grove. 18 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, one son – Gary, four sons-in-law, three step-brothers and two step-sisters.

She was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary and a retired seamstress at a dress factory. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.

Funeral services for 92-year-old Pearl O. Hasemeyer were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 22 at the Schroeder-McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester with Rev. Martin Springer officiating. Burial was in the Ellis Grove Cemetery in Ellis Grove.
