Funeral services will be Thursday, April 18, 2002 for 84 year old Cletus
Naeger of Ellis Grove, IL who died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Memorial
Hospital in Chester, IL.
Born January 5, 1918 in Weingarten, MO, the son of Bernhard and Regina (Gidley)
Naeger. He married Dorothy Stirnaman on October 14, 1950 in Prairie du
Rocher, IL and she survives of Ellis Grove.
Also suriving are eight children, Glenn Naeger, Anita McDonough and Linda
Seymour all of Ellis Grove, IL, Alice Cushman and Chris Naeger both of
Chester, IL, Nancy Muzzarelli of Murphysboro, IL, Ned Naeger of Normal, IL
and Tim Naeger of Perryville, MO. Two sisters, Lorena Mudd of Evansville, IL
and Leona Mudd of Prairie du Rocher, IL. Two step sisters, two sisters in
law, 15 grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and two great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant daughter, one sister
and one brother.
Friends may call after 4pm Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at the Welge
Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral services for Cletus Naeger will be Thursday, April 18, 2002 at
11am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis Grove, IL with Msgr. Dennis
Schaefer and Deacon Al DuBois officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph
Catholic Cemetery in Prairie du Rocher, IL.
Memorials can be made to the Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester,
IL or to the American Diabetes Association.
