Funeral services will be Friday, January 26, 2001 for 85-year-old
Bernice Copple of Walsh, IL who died Wednesday, January 24, 2001 at
Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.
Born October 17, 1915 in Schuline, IL, the daughter of Ferd and
Caroline (Beckman) Hammel. She married William Copple on April 7, 1951 in
Blytheville, AR and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Melvin Braun of Southington, CT, Lester
Braun of Evansville, IL and William Copple of Walsh, IL. Two daughters,
Rosemary Ferguson of Sparta, IL and Ann Carpenter of Walsh, IL. Two
sisters, Viola Krampe of Phoenix, AZ and Anne Schuetz of Sparta, IL. 23
grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter,
one son and two sisters.
Friends may call after 4pm Thursday, January 25, 2001 at the Welge
Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, IL.
Funeral service for Bernice Copple will be Friday, January 26, 2001 at
11:00am at the Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, IL with Rev.
Marvin "Bud" Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Union
Cemetery in Sparta, IL.
