Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 19, 2001 for 85 year old
Stanley Macieiski of Chester, IL who died Saturday, December 15, 2001 at the
V.A. Medical Center in Marion, IL.
Born October 13, 1916 in Scranton, PA, the son of Tofli and Valerka (Gienska)
Macieiski. He married Oneta Racine on August 1, 1945 in Benton, IL and she
survives of Chester, IL.
Also surviving are two sons, Phillip Macieiski of Danville, IL and
Stanley Macieiski, Jr. of New Orleans, LA. Two daughters, Trudy Reynolds of
Chester, IL and Cynthia Murphy of Tulsa, OK. Two sisters, Helen Gunsteen of
Chicago, IL and Blanche Ponciroli of St. Louis, MO.
Nine grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call after 4pm Tuesday, December 18, 2001 at the Welge
Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral services for Stanley Macieiski will be Wednesday, December 19,
2001 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, IL with Msgr.
Dennis Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows
Cemetery in Benton, IL.

A fourth degree Knights of Columbus Services will be held Tuesday at 7pm
at the funeral home.
