Roland "Red" Stumpe
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 15, 2000 for 60 year old Roland
"Red" Stumpe of Chester who died Monday, June 12, 2000 at
Born April 7, 1940 in Chester, the son of Norbert and Martha (Bauer)
Stumpe. He married Sarah Usher on January 18, 1960 in St. Louis, MO and
she survives of Chester.
Also surviving is one daughter, Kim McKinney of Chester, IL. Two sons,
Shannon Stumpe of Perryville, MO and Scott Stumpe of Chester, IL. One
sister, Ruth Petrowske of Chester, IL. Two brothers, Alan Stumpe and
Norbert Stumpe both of Chester, IL. Three grandchildren, two-step
grandsons also survive.
His parents, one son and one brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 4pm Wednesday, June 14, 2000 at the
Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home in Chester, IL.
Funeral services for Roland "Red" Stumpe will be Thursday,
June 15, 2000 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, IL with
Monsignor Dennis Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in the church
Memorials can be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s
Catholic School or to the American Heart Association.
