Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 19, 2000 for 97 year old Rufina Rose Braun of Chester who died Saturday, July 15, 2000 at Chester Memorial Hospital.

Born March 17, 1903 in Biehle, MO, the daughter of Theodore and Thresa (Pingel) Wingerter. She married Edward Braun on June 28, 1922 in Chester and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Chester and Melvin of Florida. Two daughters, Dolores Cashman of Evansville, IN and Elizabeth Morlock of Athens, GA. 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, two daughters, five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 5pm Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at the Schroeder McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester, IL.

Funeral services for Rufina Braun will be Wednesday, July 19, 2000 at 10am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Chester, IL with Monsignor Dennis Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials can be made in the form of Masses.

A rosary will be recited at 7pm Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at the Schroeder McClure Funeral Chapel in Chester, IL.
