Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 3, 2000 for 90 year old
Wilma Kumke of Chester, IL, formerly of Evansville, IL, who died Monday,
July 31, 2000 at her residence.
She was born August 20, 1909 in Evansville, IL, the daughter of Max and
Catherine (Pautler) Wittenbrink. She married Lewis Kumke on September 21,
1936 in Evansville, IL and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Chester, IL and John of
Belleville, IL. One brother, Father Boniface Wittenbrink, OMI of
Belleville, IL. One sister, Sister Dorine Wittenbrink, FSM of St. Louis,
Mo. Six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and
Friends may call after 3pm Wednesday, August 2, 2000 at the Welge
Pechacek Funeral Home in Evansville, IL.
Funeral mass for Wilma Kumke will be Thursday, August 3, 2000 at St.
Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville, IL with Rev. John J. Joyce
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials can be made in the form of Masses.
