Funeral services will be Monday, March 8, 1999 for 63-year-old Nicholas Grau of Evansville who died Thursday, March 4 in Evansville.

Born April 27, 1935 in Belleville, the son of Henry and Hilda (Ernst) Grau. He married Patricia Roos on October 26, 1955 in Columbia and she survives of Evansville.

Also surviving are five sons, Bruce of Belleville, Brian of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Ronald of Beaufort, Missouri, Donald of Ellis Grove and Mike of Splendora, Texas. Five daughters, Connie Yallaly and Barbara Grau both of Chester, Catherine Reichert of Belleville, Lori Valleroy of Evansville and Linda Dickneite of Waterloo. One brother, Charles Grau of Milstadt. Four sisters, Millie Steiger of EauClair, Wisconsin, Bertha Donnelly of Collinsville, Ida Miles of Belleville and Barbara Hoernis of Florida. One sister in law, Goldie Grau of Belleville. His father in law, Richard Roos survives of Chester. 27 grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and his mother in law.

Friends may call after 3pm Sunday, March 7th at the Welge Pechacek Funeral home in Evansville.

Funeral services for Nicholas Grau will be Monday morning at 11am at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Evansville with Rev. John Joyce officiating. Military graveside service will be held at the church cemetery.

Memorials can be made in the form of masses or to St. Boniface Catholic Church.

A prayer service will be held at 5pm Sunday at the funeral home.
