No injuries reported in Saturday morning crash

The Randolph County Sheriff's Department has released details about an early Saturday morning crash on State Route 154.

According to the accident report, 40 year old Erica Groves of Red Bud, IL was traveling west on Route 154 early Saturday when she told authorities she swerved to miss a deer that crossed into the roadway.

Her vehicle ran off the left side of the road and struck a guard rail. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on its wheels on top of the guardrail.

Neither Groves nor her passenger, 40 year old Jeremie Hock of Red Bud, was injured in the crash.

The crash happened around 2:30am Saturday morning on State Route 154 about a quarter mile west of Conservation Road.
