May 8, 2008 Ste. Genevieve students attend character brunch Submitted article and photo STE. GENEVIEVE -- Three Ste. Genevieve School District R-II students attended a Character Athlete Brunch sponsored by the Perry County School District No. 32 on May 6, 2008.
Rikki Ritter, a junior at Ste. Genevieve High School; Brady Grass, an eighth grader and Jacob Roe, a seventh grader, both at Ste. Genevieve Middle School, were invited to attend the brunch. These students were selected by Perryville athletes and coaches as displaying positive sportsmanship during athletic contests played in Perryville during this past school year. Perryville School District has been hosting this Character brunch for the last several years as a way of recognizing sportsmanship displayed by opposing teams when playing at Perryville. There were 96 students invited to the brunch this year from schools in the JCAA, MAAA and SEMO Conferences/Area Schools Rikki is the daughter of Mike and Kris Ritter, Brady is the son of Dave and Shelly Grass and Jacob is the son of Mark Roe and Tonya Coleman. |
