May 6, 2008 SGMS students care about their community Submitted article and photo STE. GENEVIEVE -- During the school year, advisory classes at Ste. Genevieve Middle School busy themselves with projects to help the community in some way.
Mrs. Donovan’s seventh grade advisory class collected aluminum cans to be recycled for cash. The money from the recycling project was donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Ste. Genevieve. Joan Siebert, a representative for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, was presented a check for $50 by Taylor Hudson, a Ste. Genevieve Middle School student. Taylor collected the most aluminum cans to be recycled for the St. Vincent de Paul Society. |
