Leontine R. " Sis" (Hurst) Rozier

A funeral will be held Saturday, February 6th, 2010 for 97-year-old Leontine Rozier of Ste. Genevieve, who died Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010 at her home.

She was born on March 1st, 1913, in Saint Mary, the daughter of Rudolph and Dorothy (Heiserer) Hurst. They preceded her in death.

She married Floyd Rozier April 24th, 1931. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, James J. (Lorraine) Rozier of Ste. Genevieve; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Grandchildren are: Deborah Todhunter of Whiteville, TN,  Denise (David) Ruebsam of Ballwin, Diana (Richard) Buchheit of Perryville; Great-Grandchildren: Sarah (Justin) Rose; Lucas Ruebsam; Nicholas (Cathy) Rozier; Matthew Todhunter; Anthony (Kristin) Ruebsam; Danielle (Steve) Messer; Katherine Ruebsam; Brian Buchheit; Adam Buchheit ; Great-great-grandchild: Adrianna Messer, granddaughter in law, Monica Basler.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Rozier, a great-great grandson, John Gustav Rose, a brother, Clement Hurst, and a sister, Erma Clark.

She was a member of Sodality of Mary.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Service will be held at Church of Ste. Genevieve on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Dennis Schmidt will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Valle Spring Cemetery, in Ste. Genevieve.
