A funeral will be held Friday, February 5^th, 2010 for 100-year-old Emily R. Thomure of Ozora, who died Tuesday, February 2^nd, 2010 at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center.

She was born August 16, 1909, in Ste. Genevieve, the daughter of Ignatius Lipp and Clara (Bauman) Lipp, who both preceded her in death.

She married Edward A. Thomure on September 17^th, 1934. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son: James "Rocky" (Janie) Thomure of French Village; a daughter: Rosetta (Robert) Bahr of Ozora and two grandchildren: Karen (Carl) Wiersma of Ste. Genevieve and Kathy (Rodney) Jones of Fenton.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Edward Lipp, William Lipp and Ignatius Lipp and a sister: Lorriane Thomure

Visitation will be 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, February 5^th, 2010 at the Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.

A funeral for 100-year-old Emily R. Thomure of Ozora will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 5^th, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Church in Ozora. The Rev. Monsignor James Hanson will officiate.

Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Ozora.
