A funeral will be held Saturday, January 16th, 2010 for 85-year-old Estlea C. Deweese of Perryville, formerly of St. Mary, who died Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born Wednesday, February 20th, 1924, in Lithium, the daughter of William and Ada (Lancaster) Mowry, who preceded her in death.

She married Marvin Deweese, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by five sons and four daughters in law, Richard (Sally) Deweese of Athens, AL, Lloyd (Linda) Deweese of East Moline, IL, Kenny (Norva) Deweese of Moline, IL, Ronald (Kathy) Deweese of Perryville, Doyle Deweese of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter, Mary Clifton of Perryville; two sisters, Jody Coppeway of Perryville, Alberta Cissell of Perryville; 25 grandchildren, and over 32 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Deweese and Lindell Deweese, two daughters and a son in law, Norma (Deweese) Brown and Peggy Barr, along with several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be at Basler Funeral Home St. Mary, MO on Friday, January 15th, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Service will be held at Basler Funeral Home St. Mary, MO on Saturday, January 16th, 2010 at 11:00 AM.

The Clergy will be Rev. Don Estes.

Burial will follow at the St. Mary’s Cemetery, in St. Mary.
