Two hurt in I-55 crash Thursday morning Missouri State Highway Patrol JEFFERSON CITY -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two Perryville residents were hurt in a traffic crash on I-55 in Perry County Thursday morning. The patrol says 37-year-old Barbara C. Cathey had moderate injuries and 31-year-old Jason W. Wright had minor injuries. The patrol says Cathey was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by "ARCH EVAC" helicopter and Wright was taken to Perry County Memorial Hospital by a Perry County ambulance. The patrol says the crash happened when the northbound Ford F-150 Cathey was driving struck a patch of ice and went out of control. The pick up traveled off the right side of the road and overturned striking a rock embankment. Cathey was ejected from the vehicle. The patrol says the crash happened about 7:12 a.m. at the 132.3 mile marker. |
