Perryville man hurt in Route E crash Missouri State Highway Patrol JEFFERSON CITY -- A 78-year-old Perryville man suffered moderate injuries in a traffic crash Saturday afternoon on Route E in Perry County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Leo T. Klump was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau by an Air Evac helicopter. The patrol says Klump was the driver of a westbound farm tractor which was struck in the rear by a car driven by 56-year-old Edward J. Wood of Perryville. Wood was not hurt. The patrol says the crash happened about 4:10 p.m. four-tenths of a mile west of Perry County Road 202. The patrol says Wood was buckled up. |
