Power outage blamed on tree Citizens Electric Corporation PERRYVILLE – An hour long power outage which knocked the local radio station off the air last Thursday noon was caused by a tree. That word today from Citizens Electric Corporation Members Services Manager Barb Casper in the company's Ste. Genevieve office. She said the outage began about 11:25 a.m. And power was restored about 12:20 p.m. The outage affected an area southwest of Perryville where the KBDZ radio transmitter and tower are located. |
