Aldermen meet in regular session

PERRYVILLE – The Perryville Board of Aldermen made quick work of its agenda last night.

The board approved the following:

An Invoice from Horner & Shifrin for engineering services regarding Water Ground Storage Tank at Water Treatment Plant - $1,356.86.

Bids for the Pool Liner Replacement Project at the Perry Park Center and accept recommendation by Parks & Recreation Director Blevins to award the bid to Aquatics Renovation Systems, Inc. - $64,425.00.

Bids received for the Hume Street and Old St. Mary’s Road Storm Water Improvements Project and accept the recommendation from the City Engineer to award the bid to Clifton Farms, Inc. - $20,021.50.

A request by Alderman Flentge, Chairman of the Public Safety Committee, to place a "Dead End" sign at the entrance of Mecker Road where it intersects with Oak Street.

A request by Chamber of Commerce to sell intoxicating beer by-the-drink at the Seminary Picnic Grounds for the Quarterly Chamber Membership Meeting/Heritage Day BBQ on July 24, 2009.

A request for destruction of expired files in archive room.

Pay Plan for part-time personnel in the Parks & Recreation Department.

Recommendation by Public Works Committee to contract with Baer Engineering, LLC for the engineering services needed for the Sidewalk Enhancement Program

Request by Parks & Recreation Director Blevins to extend the curfew hours in the City Park until 3:30 a.m. on July 15, 2009, for the showing of the new Harry Potter movie.

Sale of jet fuel to Sabreliner Corporation.

Two measures were given final passage:

An agreement with Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission for Utility Mapping Services

A contract with Baer Engineering, LLC for engineering services for the Sidewalk Enhancement Program

Leroy Brown Voluntary Annexation

General Warranty Deed from Rickey J. Valleroy regarding property along Dry Run Branch

Contract with Aquatics Renovation Systems, Inc., for the Perry Park Center Pool Liner Replacement Project

Contract with Clifton Farms, Inc., for the Hume Street and Old St. Mary’s Road Storm Water Improvement Project
