Virginia M. Emmendorfer

A funeral will be held Thursday, January 14th, 2010 for 79-year-old Virginia M. Emmendorfer of Perryville, who died January 9, 2010 at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born February 17, 1930 in Perryville the daughter of Albert C. and Ruth V. (Feltz) Fadler who both preceded her in death.

She married Sylvester J. Emmendorfer on April 15th, 1950. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by a son: Steven J. (Debra) Emmendorfer of Plainville, Connecticut; three daughters: Debra (Robert) Prost of Perryville, Karen (Richard) Cattoor of St. Louis and Donna (John) Prost of Perryville; 13 grandchildren: Allison, Adam, Danielle, Lindsey, Scott, Jared and Andrew Prost, Christine and Wesley Cattoor, Stephanie Dennis, Briana, Cheyenne and Daniel Emmendorfer and three greatgrandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters: Shirley Doering and Geraldine Fadler and a brother: Donald Fadler.

She had been a home maker and member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Perpetual Adoration, Girl Scout leader and Ladies Sodality past member.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 and 6:30-9:20 a.m. Thursday, January 14th, 2010 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 79-year-old Virginia M. Emmendorfer of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 14trh, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev, Charles Prost will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt, Hope Cemetery,
