A funeral will be held Monday, January 11^th, 2010 for 67-year-old Robert C. "Pete" Peterson of Perryville who died Monday, January 4^th at his home.

He was born March 22, 1942 at Northfield, Minnesota, the son of Carl O. Peterson and Lenore Peloquin Peterson

He married Mary Margaret Naeger on May 13, 1967 at Perryville. She survives in Perryville.

He is also survived by a son: James Peterson of St. Louis; a brother: Mark Peterson of Perryville; and two sisters: Mary Lou Hof of Florissant and Christine Peters of Schamburg, Illinois.

He was also preceded in death by a son: Jeff Peterson

He worked at the Perryville Cheese Company. He served with the National Guard for 22 years.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Perryville Elks, American Legion No. 133.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2010 and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday, January 11^th, 2010 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers with the Knights of Columbus at 7 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the Funeral Home.

A funeral mass for 67-year-old Robert C. "Pete" Peterson of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 11^th, 2010 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan, CM will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent School Endowment Fund or American Cancer Society.
