A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, January 27^th, 2010 for 92-year-old Loraine A. Buchheit of Perryville, who died Monday, January 25^th, 2010 at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born September 13^th, 1917 in Old Appleton, the daughter of Louis and Louise (Meyer) Wibbenmeyer. They preceded her in death.

She married Leander Buchheit November 25^th, 1937 in Apple Creek. He preceded her in death.

She was survived by a son, Ken Buchheit of Marquand; a daughter, Eileen Christian of St. Louis; a sister, Petty Menderski of St. Louis; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Four brothers and six sisters preceded her in death.

She was a Store Clerk for Appleton Mercantile Co. for 30 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Apple Creek, and was a member of the Ladies Sodality as well as serving on the Shrine Committee.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 27^th at 10:00 am, at St. Michael’s Cemetery-Apple Creek. The Rev. Tony Dattilo will officiate.
