Glenda J. Stout A funeral will be held Thursday, January 28th, 2010 for 89-year-old Glenda J. Stout of Hillsboro, formerly of Perry County who died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.
She was born February 28th, 1920 in Perry County, the daughter of Charles Head and Pearl Johnson Head, who both preceded her in death. She married Clifford M. Heaps. He preceded her in death in 1997. She married Vernis L. Stout. He preceded her in death November 21, 2005. She is survived by two sons: Michael Heaps of Pevely and Patrick Heaps of Perryville; two daughters: Charlotte Jones of Hillsboro and Pamela Dillow of Barnhart; a step son: David Stout of St. Louis; three sisters: Ada Winkler of Hillsboro, Lenore Porter of St. Charles and Patsy Gentry of Bellview, Nebraska; two brothers: Leeman Head of Perryville and Victor Head of Farmington; 12 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren 15 great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a stepson, a sister and two brothers. She worked at American Can Company in St. Louis. She was a member of Whitewater Christian Church. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27th and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A funeral for 89-year-old Glenda J. Stout of Hillsboro, formerly of Perry County will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at the Whitewater Christian Church in Perry County. The Rev. Melvin Weiss will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis on Friday, January 29th 2010 at 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice. |
