William M. Boone A private funeral will be held for 92-year-old William M. Boone of Perryville who died June 13th at Perryville.
He was born November 6th, 1916 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of John Boone and Frances Nunnelley Boone He married Elizabeth DePola in April 1948. She preceded him in death in 1994. He was an iron worker. He served in the Marine Corps during WW II, where he received two purple hearts. He was a member of the Elks, and volunteered at Independence Care Center in Perryville. He is survived by a son: David and Kathy Boone of Perryville, a grandson: Brandon and Rebecca Boone of Perryville, a granddaughter Amie and Doyle Lawrence of Perryville, three great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters and two great-step-grandchildren He was also preceded in death by one great grand daughter All services are private. Miller Family Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
