A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 23^rd, 2009 for 94-year-old Lucy I. Hawkes of Perryville, who died June 20^th at Independence Care Center in Perryville.

She was born January 17^th, 1915 in Perry County, the daughter of William Manche and Louise L’Hote Manche

She married Andrew B. Hawkes. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.

She was a stenographer for the United States government and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday, June 22^nd and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 23^rd at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday and the Rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.

A funeral for 94-year-old Lucy I. Hawkes of Perryville at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23^rd at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. The Rev. Bill Rhinehart will officiate.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
