Funeral Mass will be Monday, May 18, 2009 for 90 year old Verna Baudendistel of Perryville, MO who passed away on May 15, 2009 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born September 24, 1918 in Perry County, MO, the daughter of Gilbert and Edna (Kuhlman) Richardet. She married Wallace Baudendistel on September 21, 1940 in Perryville, MO and he preceded her in death on March 23, 2004.

Surviving are two sons, Stephen Baudendistel of Houston, TX and David Baudendistel of Hannibal, MO. One daughter, Linda Buerck of Cape Girardeau, MO. One brother, Everett Richardet of Perryville, MO and one sister. Leona Kaston of Tampa, FL. Three grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and one grandson.

Friends are calling from 5pm to 8pm Sunday, May 17, 2009 and from 6:30am to 9:50am Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville MO.

Funeral Mass for Verna Baudendistel will be Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10am from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, MO with Rev. Ryan Milton, CM officiating.

Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to Southeast Hospice or to the Lutheran Home of Cape Girardeau, MO.

Parish Prayers with the Ladies Sodality will be at 7:30pm Sunday, May 17, 2009. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00am Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
