A funeral will be held Saturday, May 30^th, 2009 for 55-year-old Michael R. Phillips of Perryville who died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

He was born June 26, 1953 in Ste. Genevieve County, the son of the late Edward and Virginia (Gamble) Phillips.

He is survived by two sons Travis and Brandon Phillips, both of Perryville; one sister, Ann Hahn of Ste. Genevieve and a brother, Jerry Phillips of West Plains and friend, Keith Schwent of Perryville.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Phillips; and three brothers: Paul, Gary, and Dennis Phillips.

He was self-employed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30th at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

A funeral for 55-year-old Michael R. Phillips of Perryville will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery in St. Mary.

Memorials are preferred for family use.
