Funeral service will be held Sunday, May 3, 2009 for 92 year old Elvira Scholl of Frohna, MO who passed away Friday, May 1, 2009 at the Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, MO.

She was born October 16, 1916, the daughter of the late Rudolph and Bertha (Kauffmann) Popp. She married Arthur Scholl on December 28, 1941 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 1987.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law; Marvin and Kathy Scholl of Frohna, James and Marcy Scholl of St. Louis and Gary and Peggy Scholl of Frohna, seven grandchildren; Travis (Jenny) Scholl, Joey Scholl, Kelly (Jeremiah) Kohlfeld, Joshua Scholl, Karen Scholl, Tony (Shandy) Scholl, Mark Scholl and three great-grand children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Alida Oberndorfer and Mildred Gerharter and one brother Leonard Popp.

Mrs. Scholl will rest in state at Young & Sons East Perry Chapel on Saturday, May 2^nd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Sunday, May 3^rd from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. She will then be taken to Concordia Lutheran Church for Service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Concordia Lutheran Church or Concordia School Energy Efficiency Fund in Frohna, MO.
