Wilma E. Hadler Wilma E. Hadler of Perryville died Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at Independence Care Center of Perry County. She was 96.
She was born February 26, 1913 in Farrar, MO., the daughter of the late Herman and Marie (Koenig) Verseman. She was married May 31, 1936 to Arthur J. Hadler who preceded her in death March 1, 1994. Survivors include two sons and three daughters: Wallace (Evelyn) Hadler of Campbell Hill, IL., Curtis (Charlotte) Hadler of Perryville, Joyce (Robert) Hemmann of Cape Girardeau, Donna (James) Stabile of St. Louis, Goldie (Ron) Bock of Naperville, IL., one sister-in-law Erna Schuessler of Perryville. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren Sherry (Terry) Hadler, Gary (Elizabeth) Hadler, Wendy (Barry) Sommers, Lisa (ReFaat) Mefrakis, Laura (Chris) Goodson, Mark (Darla) Hemmann, Kristine (Thomas) Vanek, Paul & John Stabile, Michael & Christopher Bock, and twenty four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Rosa Steffens and Flora Hadler, two brothers, Edgar and Wilbert Verseman and one great grandchild Braden Sommers. Wilma Hadler was a home maker and life long member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Ladies Aid, and Salem Silent Servants. Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran School. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 30th and Friday from 6:30 – 8:00 am at Young & Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10:00 am Friday at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements. |
