Lester T. Jannin A funeral will be held Friday, April 17th, 2009 for 87-year-old Lester T. Jannin of Perryville who died Tuesday, April 14th at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
He was born June 4, 1921 at Perry County, the son of Marcellus and Mary Louise Seifert Jannin He married Mary Etheline Gibbar on Oct. 18, 1944 at Silver Lake. She preceded him in death. He is survived by two sons, Harold Jannin and Roger Jannin both of Perryville, a sister, Gladys Gibbar of Perryville, six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his five sisters and three brothers He was a farmer and member of St. Rose of Lime Catholic Church in Silver Lake. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 16 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Friday, April 17th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers at 7 p.m. Thursday and Rosary at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. A funeral mass for 87-year-old Lester T. Jannin will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake. The Rev. Alphonse Hoernig, CM will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials to Masses |
