Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 20^th, 2009 for 95-year-old Jesse H. Kiefer of Perryville, who died Thursday, April 16^th, 2009 at Independence Care Center of Peryville.

He was born Sept. 12, 1913 at Perryville, the son of August Kiefer and Rosa Moore Kiefer, who preceded him in death.

He married Thurn Meininger on May 1, 1937 at St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death.

Surviving: Four Daughters: Geraldine Sutterer, Marlene Schremp, and Sheridan Prevallet all of Perryville and LaDonna Klingner-South St. Paul, MN; Two Sons: Richard Kiefer and Robert Kiefer-both of Perryville, MO; Three Sisters: Virginia Sprague-Colstrip, Montana, Dorothy Seitz-Green River, Wyoming, Alice Stanhope -Billings, Montana; 16 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren, and one Great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by 17 brothers and sisters.

He worked at Saberliner Corporation.

He was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Sportsman’s Club.

Visitation will be from 5-9:00pm on Sunday, April 19, 2009 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish Wake at 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday, April 20, 2009 from 6:30am- 9:50 am. The rosary will be recited at 9:00am at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass for 95-year-old Jesse H. Kiefer of Perryville will be held at 10:00 am, April 20, 2009 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Rev. Milton Ryan, CM officiating.

Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
