Bernice M. Winkler A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 for 81-year-old Bernice M. Winkler of Perryville who died April 10th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1928 in Perry County, the daughter of Felix and Lora (Roy) Moore who both preceded her in death. She married Raymond D. Winkler on Oct. 16, 1948 in Perryville. He preceded her in death July 12, 1983 She worked at Perryville High School Commons and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by three sons: Dennis Winkler and Wayne Winkler, both of Perryville and Larry Winkler of St. Louis; three daughters: Susan Meyer and Jane Trapp, both of Perryville and Gail Winkler of Weingarten; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and two sisters: Helen Welker of Kirkwood and Verna Agnew of Ballwin. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Hillard Moore and another brother and three sisters. Visitation will be on 5-9 p.m. Monday, April 13 and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Tuesday, April 14th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers at 5:30 p.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday. A funeral mass for 81-year-old Bernice M. Winkler will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14th at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent Schools or to the Parkinson’s Foundation |
