Patricia Ann (Modde) Tiehes

Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 17th, 2009 for 63-year-old Patricia Ann (Modde) Tiehes of Manchester, formerly of Perryville, who died Sunday, January 11th, 2009 at her residence.

She was born June 16th, 1945 in Belgique, the daughter of Edward and Marie (Wood) Modde. They preceded her in death.

She is survived by two daughters and sons in law, and a son, Kristine and Shandy Casteel of St. Louis, Susan and Perry Davis of Patton, Michael Tiehes of Perryville; three brothers and sisters in law, John "Toby" and Bea Modde of Perryville, Larry "Pete" and Barbara Modde of St. Charles, Jerry and Sharon Modde of St. Peters; three sisters and two brothers in law, Lela Wriston of Fenton, Nancy and Roger Hager and Mona and Don Clements, all of Perryville; six grandchildren, Megan, Cierra and Mason Davis, Alexia, Alicia and Chance Tiehes.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Modde; a sister, Betty Modde; a brother in law, Jim Wriston.

She was a registered nurse at Chrysler Motor Corporation, and was previously employed as an LPN at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valley Park and American Legion Auxiliary at Post 133 in Perryville. The greatest joy in her life was her family.

Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday, January 16th, and from 6:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 17th at the Young And Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the chapel.

Funeral Mass for 63-year-old Patricia Ann (Modde) Tiehes will be celebrated Saturday, January 17th, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Brad Modde will officiate. Burial will follow in the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Belgique.
