A funeral mass will be held Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 for 103-year-old Frances Elizabeth Scharenborg of Perryville, who died Friday, November 14th at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 4th, 1905 in Leopold, the daughter of George and Gesina (Wubker) Scharenborg, who both preceded her in death.

She is survived by a nephew, Elmer Renaud of Perryville and numerous other nephews and nieces.

She was also preceded in death by seven brothers: John Henry, Henry "Jay", Herman John, John George, Joseph Francecus, William John and August John Scharenborg and three sisters, Mary Arnzen, Catherine Renaud and Rosina Seiler.

She was a private maid.

Visitation will be 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, November 22nd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

A funeral mass for 103-year-old Frances Elizabeth Scharenborg of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 22nd at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Joe Williams CM will officiate.

Burial will be in the St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Leopold.

Memorials may be made to masses or to St. Vincent schools.

The Young and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
