Public Hearing Monday on future development to Cohen Complex

The OSLAD Grant Committee of the City of Chester will hold a public hearing Monday night to discuss the future development of the Gordon "Bud" Cohen Recreational Complex on the north end of town.

Dan Colvis of the OSLAD Grant Committee says the committee will be exploring the possibilities of future grants. The committee is offering the public a chance to voice their opinion on the possible future development at the Cohen Complex such the construction of soccer field and parking, softball lighting, walking path additions and lighting, picnic shelters, sand volleyball courts, horseshoe pits and batting cages.

The public hearing will be held this Monday, June 2 at 6pm in the council’s chambers at city hall.
