Four people were injured in a single vehicle accident Saturday night in Jackson County.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department reports 17 year old Helen Clover of Gorham was driving north on Lake Road when she lost control of her vehicle after swerving to miss a large puddle of water in the road.

The vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.

Clover and three passengers, 18 year old Andrew Ferguson of Gorham, 16 year old Kyle Bastien of Gorham and 21 year old Nicholas Kulas of Carbondale were all injured in the crash. The four were taken to a Murphysboro hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
