Professional Wrestling coming to Chester this Saturday night

Professional Wrestling will be returning to Daniel Colbert Gym in Chester for the first time in more than 20 years this week.

It’s not Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Entertainment and that’s a good thing because All American Pro Wrestling is a family oriented old school wrestling promotion. You will not see conduct unsuitable for children at their events. You will see some of the best professional wrestling on the independent scene.

Bell time is set for Saturday at 7pm at Daniel Colbert Memorial Gym at Chester High School. The wrestling event is a benefit for the Chester Music Patrons. The CHS Band and Swing Choir will be heading to Disney World in May 2009 and this wrestling event is one of the planned fundraisers to help pay for the trip.

The main event will feature "Homicidal" Steven Davis getting his one on one rematch against AAPW Champion "Serial Thriller" Shane Rich.

Other matches on the card feature…

Edmund "Livewire" McGuire V. Ax Stevens

Carnage V. 'The Atomic Dogg" Ali Stevens

1 Brett Young V. "The Future" Donovan Ruddick

Mark Sterling & Darrien Sanders return to AAPW to face Mike Masters & "The All American" J.T. Calhoun

K.C. Jackson V. Allen Shepard

Shawn Shultz V. "Da Bomb" Brian James

Ringside tickets are $10 and bleacher seats are $8. Tickets are on sale right now at Chester Video or from any member of the band and swing choir.
