The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department has released their weekly list of arrests and incidents.

Steven D. McCormick 37, Chester, arrested April 28, 2008 by Chester Police for failure to wear seatbelt, illegal transportation of alcohol, fleeing/attempting to elude police & failure to yield to emergency vehicle. Released after posting $100 cash bond.

April A. Rice 28, Murphysboro, arrested April 28, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for possession of a controlled substance. Is incarcerated.

Quentin P. Novack 29, Murphysboro, arrested April 28, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for possession of controlled substance. Is incarcerated.

Donneze L. Baxtron 35, East St. Louis, arrested April 29, 2008 by Sparta Police for possession of cannabis. He is also wanted out of Randolph County for failure to appear on a possession of cannabis charge. Bond on the warrant is $3,000. Is incarcerated.

Kenneth W. Walls 54, Sparta, arrested April 29, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office on an order to take into custody for failing to appear on a rule to show cause. Released after posting $250 cash bond.

Thomas W. Cahoon 21, Baldwin, arrested April 29, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for possession of cannabis & possession of drug paraphernalia. He is also wanted out of Randolph County for failure to appear on a driving suspended charge. Bond on the warrant is $3,000. Is incarcerated.

Sean C. Cato 39, Chester, arrested April 29, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for expired registration, uninsured vehicle, driving while license suspended & obstructing justice. Is incarcerated.

Melissa K. Helmers 29, Chester, arrested April 30, 2008 by Sparta Police for unlawful possession of controlled substance. Is incarcerated.

Gary D. Yearian 46, Sparta, arrested May 1, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for failure to reduce speed/accident, illegal transportation of alcohol & DUI. Is incarcerated.

Douglas J. Feldker 45, Red Bud, arrested May 2, 2008 by Red Bud Police for DUI. Released after posting $100 cash bond & a valid driver’s license.

Corey Richardson 20, Sparta, arrested May 2, 2008 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office on two Randolph County warrants. The first for failure to appear on a possession of cannabis charge, bond $4,000. The second for failure to appear on a possession of cannabis charge, bond $3,000. Is incarcerated.
